Wishful Living 1.7

When we last left Noelle she had just become the new Mrs. McRae. Since she was expecting baby #2 first order of business was to find a bigger house. Aurora Skies doesn't have much in the way of mid range housing so I put down this one out of my library. It's a simple 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home but was in their budget. Maybe once Neal goes back to work after their honeymoon period is over they will be able to afford something even bigger because it's going to be a tight squeeze to raise 5 kids in this house.

Neal is proving to be a good daddy and enjoys spending time with his new step-daughter. He tossed her in the air and tickled her before heading out to take the class in handiness.

The other new member of the family is Bridgitte. She's not the cutest puppy.

And didn't turn into a cute dog either. But Neal likes his dog so he's working on being friends with her.

After his handiness class, Neal joins Noelle for some reading while she works on fulfilling her read baby book wish. He escapes outside to build a snowman right after she rolls the wish for him to read a baby book as well. But being the good daddy he is, Neal wants to read one as well so yay for double wishes.

Life is going well in the McRae household. But as Noelle is spending some mother/daughter time with Naomi, she goes into labor. Neal keeps his cool, calls our well dressed sitter then takes his wife to the hospital.

Noelle wanted a girl, and Neal wanted a boy. And the winner is.....

Noelle, welcome the newest little McRae. Nadia McRae. She was born with the loner trait and rolled to receive the absent minded trait. Results of the DNA test are in and Neal McRae you ARE the father!!!! Yep Neal must have had really super swimmers because Noelle was nauseous the next day after that risky woo-hoo. I have never known it to happen that fast but Pedro must have a low count because they had a few encounters with no luck. Even though he didn't get his boy, Neal is still very much the proud papa.

While they were at the hospital Bridgitte decided to pee in the house. Noelle cleans up after Neal's pet while he goes outside to build another snowman.

Next day little Naomi has her birthday. There were no wishes to throw a party so it was just a quiet affair at home. She gained the easily impressed trait. Since she had learned all her skills as a tot, Noelle fulfilled the see Naomi age up well wish.

The romantic interactions have been nada between Neal and Noelle since they tied the knot, however he got in the romantic mood after Naomi aged up. He rolled a flurry of wants to kiss, flirt, woo-hoo, and watch stars wishes.

I'm hoping Naomi isn't scarred for life walking into the bathroom while her parents are trying to make her another sibling. Afterwards Noelle has babies on the brain, before they complete Neal's watch the stars want.

Meanwhile Naomi enjoys the costume chest her mom wanted before taking the sofa for a spin. Then finishes off her day cleaning the commode.

Both parents are enjoying their newest bundle of joy and often are waiting to hold her. Naomi has a full wish list that mostly revolve around fishing. She does want a rocking chair for some reason, but not sure where we can fit it in.

Neal wanted to adopt a dog and Noelle wanted to throw a gift giving party. Both were fulfilled although I didn't buy a tree so there was no opening of gifts. First time I ever threw one so not really sure how that was supposed to work. Either way it was a party and she got credit even though no one opened any gifts. Snowflake day was also Nadia's transition to tot day.

They have a house full of guests, but that doesn't stop Neal from sneaking off with his wife for a little risky woo-hoo. Noelle wants another baby so why not.

Pedro shows up to the party and I was really worried Noelle wouldn't behave herself considering her loose ways but all they did was chat, never flirted once. Which was a very good thing considering her husband walked outside to build the igloo he wanted.

Which of course he had to show off to his wife.

Once they were done getting frost bite, the frisky couple went inside to take care of the kiddies. The house once again is a mess. The TV and toilet are broken and even though Neal has the handiness skill he hasn't rolled a want to fix either. Dishes are piling up, but Noelle's neat trait seems to have gone dormant.

While working on her want to teach Nadia to talk, Noelle gets a little sick. Looks like the girls might be getting that sibling soon. Hopefully this time Neal can get his boy.

***Neal's traits are handy, friendly, vegetarian, heavy sleeper, and dog person. His LTW is to become a world renown surgeon. Also as you can see what the names I am carrying on the 'N' thing since she married a N and I named the first kid N all the kids will have N names. The new puppy is named Zeke.

Ciro did manage to pay $1000 worth of child support this time. Guess that promotion he got is paying off.

  1. Yay,I'm glad Nadia is Neal's.And that they are a happy couple with #3 on the way.
The gift giving party is supposed to spawn a gift pile when you make the call, but sometimes if the game decides there's not enough room you don't get the pile. You don't need to buy a tree or anything special, but apparently having overhead lights can get in the way of a gift pile generating.
There are mods for buyable gift piles, though.
I think Bridgette is cute, but she is a little funny looking.
Nadia is really cute, too. =D

    1. yes, I really thought it was Pedro but nope Neal is just super fertile. LOL She is really trying to knock out these kids. At this rate she'll complete her lifetime wish in no time. Neal is a bit behind. We really got to get him moving in his career.

Ah then that explains it about the gift. The house they were in was really tiny and they were often waiting on people to move so they could walk and such. If they roll a want in the new house, hopefully the gift pile will spawn.

yes that dog has a ton of fur! if she was real, she would be shaved down a lot.

  2. Being on the other side of the child support thing... I can tell you it sucks! I wouldn't have it if I didn't have the mod, correct? But I have to have that mod. grrrr.

Loved this chapter. Yeah, try the neurotic trait like I said on fb... and I see you saw it. :)

That shot of their house is gorgeous! Och, it could be a Christmas card!

LOL, almost at sticking with all N names. I like that. SO SO SO glad that Nadia is Neal's baby, yes! I cheered.

mkay, so cat explained the gift giving party. In Rose's legacy, I had to practically empty the living room and yes, move a light. :)

This is really cute, and I hope you keep it going.

    1. LOL yeah that child support thing does suck. You could have had the kid live with you then the mom would have paid you instead. The money she got from Ciro gave her a major boost because she was struggling before she married Neal.

I will see if any of the kids roll or are born with the neurotic trait. Thanks again for that tip. I may have to give it at least my heir when I decide who that will be. After they have baby #5 I will age them all up in CAS so I can see the finished product and do a vote.

Yes now I know how to do the party. I've never thrown one before so I thought I had done something wrong. Their house was just too tiny for the people.

Well as long as my game works for me I will. I just hate when it starts acting up for no reason.

  3. Her new house is gorgeous :) .... it can never be too small, the kids can have bunkbeds ^_^
I have parents, a teen, two children, a toddler and a puppy in a two bedroom, one bath house. It works. I figure the parents are going to be alone there at one point.... I really should keep a kid at the ancestral home *LOL* .... I am glad that the baby is Neal's :) Although Pedro seemed a nice guy (and I have a preference for darker hair... haha) .... very fun... and the dog is cute
